Farmer's Market Transparency

I don't know if any of you made it to opening day of the Bank Street Market, but it was gorgeous! The new manager, the People's Food Co-op, started doing something this year to help increase food transparency in the market. All (or almost all) of the permanent stalls have signs that tell whether the vender is a grower, producer (meats and value-added products) or, I think, a retailer. The labels help make it easier for consumers to choose the type of food that they wanted.

Just an update, thought it was cool!
